Golf Shot Trajectory
Controlling golf shot trajectory is easy when you understand a few basic principles.
Your hand position in relationship to the ball has a strong influence on trajectory. Hands positioned even with or behind the ball create higher trajectory. The farther your hands are ahead of the ball the lower the trajectory.
The second principal is ball position between your feet. The farther back in your stance the ball is positioned the lower the trajectory. Higher trajectories are achieved in just the opposite way. The farther the ball is positioned ahead in your stance the higher the trajectory.
Trajectory is also influenced by the slope of the ground. Upward slopes produce higher shots and downward slopes produce lower shots. Pay attention to the degree of the slope. Severe slopes have a strong influence on trajectory and distance.
In addition simply choosing clubs with more or less loft controls trajectory.
When you attend our Palm Springs Golf Schools or Las Vegas Golf Schools you can learn these principals in a practical on course situation.
